Trogir

Trogir is a small town about 15 miles from Split.  I took the 9:30 am bus, unfortunately I had to stand for about half the trip as the bus was very crowded.  The weather was somewhat overcast with some light drizzle later in the morning.

There are some interesting buildings in town including the remains of an old fort.  I saw most of the town in a few hours & because of the weather decided to head back sooner than planned.  I ended up on a crowded city bus (standing again for half the trip) that stopped about every 1/4 mile.  If the logistics would have worked out, it would have been better to visit one of the nearby islands. However, they don't have many ferries to the islands until early June when the main tourist season starts.

I leave in the morning on a bus from Split to go to Zadar with a stop in Sibenik for a few hours to sightsee.
